What will you do if you are GOD ...

Sounds like the movie "Bruce Almighty"? Why ... switch on the TV, flip thru the newspapers ... or surt the ChannelNewsasia website ... this is a sample of what you get ... :

- British bomb plot causes worldwide airline chaos
- Bird flu found in Vietnamese ducks
- Typhoon hits China as over 1.5 million evacuated
- Suicide bomber kills 33 near Iraqi Shiite shrine
- Israel TV reports armoured push into south Lebanon
- New warning over erupting Philippine volcano

And my god, these are just tip of the ice berg! How abt the millions of crimes of disaster that goes unreported? Never ending fighting, never ending evolution of the flu virus, never ending re-currence of typhoon/hurricane ... flooding killed millions while half a globe away another thousands are dying of drought!

Childrens and adults are starving to death while half a globe away ... kids and parents alike are eating to their death (obesity)!? What is this world becoming? Are we really heading for armagedon or the so called end of the world? It's in the prophecy ... so they says. But I thought it was supposed to end 6 years back? And these problems does not only start 7 yrs ago or even 100 yrs ago ... I believe, though I have no evidence ... it all started the day when we have civilisation.

Or has god been pondering about what to do to his creations over this thousand of years? What would you do if you were god? With so much evil, there is so much good ... In disaster, there are those who grieve ... but there are those who thrived from it. There are those who rob, rape and kill in the cover of the situation, but there are those brave and kind who in spite of the situation goes to aid.

I'm not god, of course, no where near ... and I will not want to be one ... Kill them all? Destroy the whole world with the evil and good in it? Something someone who claim to be merciful will do? Ok, then just kill the evil and remove the disaster ... well ... draw the line please ... he who fishes take lifes but uses the money to feed his young and old ... or even do good deeds? Evil or good? Kill the robbers ... the cop has nothing to do but idle and waste tax payers money ... good or bad? Stop the war and one country that supplies arnaments goes into recession ... together bring the whole world with it ... Oophs .... good or bad? Poor God... God bless us all ...

It's August!!! 2006!

Ah yes, it's Aug again liao ... this wed will National Day again! Our nation's 41st birthday! Sometime think of it also scare, images of me and my pregnant wife sitting in front of the Padang watching last year's National Day parade are still so fresh in my mind! And now ... it's another National Day liao!

Of couse, and look at the Little boy in the pic ... already 7mths old! Back then he was still in his mummy's stomach!!! Come to think of it, so much has changed since the last National day ...

Back then:

- I was serving the Navy
- my job tittle was senior technician cum section IC
- taking our so called world class Bus/Mrt/Cab
- I 'm married but not a dad yet ... haha


Now:

- working with Roche Diagnostic
- my job tittle sounds better: Service Engineer! haha! But I'm now at the bottom of my team's hierachy ... and pay also drop! hahaha!
- but my job offers me more empowerment and decision making! :)
- struggling to pay for our world class parking, fuel and road tax
- suddenly I have an extra mouth to feed ... hahaha( Tho I'm so willing abt it! :) )
- aiya ... so much so much lah .... I just wanna conclude ./....

LIFE IS REALLY SO EXCITING AND DYNAMIC!! It changing so fast that if we think too much, I dun think we'll ever get to enjoy the ride!!! Coast along and enjoy the whole process!!!! CHEERS!!!
