Completed my first Official Instrument training!

The month of October is really an exciting and interesting month for me. The beginning of this month, I attended a 2.5 weeks training at our local office on one of the machine that I will be servicing. This is the first Official training I received, meaning we have our regional trainers and also trainers from our Switzerland HQ's Global support team coming here to coach us.

The focus and quality of training was really good. We have only 4 trainees ... but 3 trainers! haha!(Though they teaches different things) And we get 2 trainees to 1 machine for hands-on session. Best of all, lunch was provided daily ... great sumptous lunch ... hehe! Of course my fellow trainees from Indonesia would have enjoyed more as they get free stay and tour in Singapore too! Nevermind ... my turn will come when I go other places for training! hehe! Soon ... if all goes well, Dec ... :) My only worry is that I can't TAHAN the freezing winter!

And this month also marks the first modification I did to my humble City... haha ... gives it a new breathing system, a "sun shade" for the windor and a arm rest for me to drive like uncle! (got some investment returns so can spend a bit ... hehe) Hmmm, my bro also buy car liao, can't tell you all which bro ... look out for his own posting at his blog! :)

Overall, Oct was nice to me ... hope months and years to come keeps getting better! Cheers!

Edan gets his first Bike! hehe!

Edan get his first bike today! We were at IMM when we see this bike, he was very happy when his mum pulls out the bike to test it ... he keeps giggling and laughing! But after we let him try it ... the sales man say that that's the last piece! Walao, so old and used!

Luckily this salesman, Uncle Wong told me there's a road show going on at Jurong Point, told us to go over and mention his name for discount! Yes, instead of $49.90 at IMM-Giant, we got it at $42! And so ... Edan now has a new ride!!! haha!

My brothers got married!!!

Today's really a big day for me... 7 Oct 2006 ... 2 of my closest/longest/dearest brothers got married! Call it coincidence or what ... Ken's traditional ceremony was held this morning and Sam registered for marriage later in the afternoon! Luckily the timings were different and Ken's dinner on Tues, so I was able to give my full attention to both big events! Luckily my D70 managed to survive the day!(not much shooting today though! haha!)

Sometime, when pple tell you that you will feel happy when others are happy ... you have to believe it. I really feel it today, when I see the families rallying behind their sons and daughters ... sharing their happiness ... all the laughters and blissful looks on the faces ... really warms up my own dejected heart.

I wanna wish both the couples, Sam & Jennie(first photo) and Ken & Stephanie, a really blissful and happy union! Yum Seng!!!

** sometime it feels weird though to see others stepping onto the beinging of a new journey when mine is moving to the end ...

My 9 months old son ...

1st Oct 2006 ... Edan is 9mths old le!!! Wahahah!! Very fast, sometime I really love the idea of blogging ... for someone who does not have the habit of keeping a dairy, this is really a god sent gift! When I browse back on previous post at times, it's really a very nice feeling to "feel" how I was feeling back then. Just gotta find a way to back up all these postings.

Hmmm, this wkend is really one of the rare chance that I've got both sunday and saturday off. But as todays' work was postponed at the last min ... kinda lost what I should be doing ... just lazing around! Maybe just take this chance to recuperate cos next wkend will be very busy!!! 7Oct, my 2 brothers, Ken and Sam are both getting married!!! One customary and the other one ROM! Luckily I'm able to attend both since it's a separate morning and afternoon affairs.
