Debut trip to Mannheim, Germany

Here I am again, capturing these memories thousands of miles away from home.
Arrived in Mannheim a few days back and will more or less be "stuck" here for the next 2 weeks. It's sometime really not easy, though I do cherish the chance to visit a new place ... but on the other hand I really miss my kids, even though it's only for 2weeks plus.
Really looking forward to going back home and going for a swim with Edan and Lucius. And of course ... our planned family trip to Malaysia.

For a new beginning ...

It's a day of new beginning as we believe. Today, Edan and Lucius were baptised at the St.Francis of Assisi. This also fulfilled my inner wish, for them to follow on my Family tradition ...
I've fulfilled my obligation, to give them the beginning, the future we can only guide ... given that I'm also not a "strong catholic" ... God has his plans. Whether they will walk the paths of every devouted catholic or they will become lost sheeps (like me for the past 20+years) ... no one knows. We each has a path to walk, a role to play and missions to fulfill. Again God has his plans ... :)
** for the record, these photos also mark the debut photo session of my new Tamron 17-50mm, f2.8 lens! hehe! Not bad, sharp sharp ... waiting for a chance to test it outdoor in normal lighting conditions, should do better. I'm still so way behind in my Flash photography, so hard to control ...
