Goodbye Grandpa ...

Lousiest July I ever had in my life? At least until now ...

From the moment I arrive Changi Airport on the 9th July, it has been a crazy month. It has been work and work, even working overnight at one customer site.

15th July, after repeated call from a site, went to overhaul instrument at 10pm, only to work through the night till nearly 9am in the morning. Went home slept a few hours, went back to co's bowling event, then dinner ... then after call came from my wife; Grandpa is in critical condition.

What the heck!? Just visited him 3 days ago in hospital and he was so normal! Rush home, fetched parents ... sped to Changi Hospital, halfway at Eunos, call keep coming in, Doc says less than 1 min left ... call come in again, Grandpa is gone. F!

The whole situation is simply "Fubar"(F U beyond all recognition), in my own opinion, the Doc simply put a 87 yrs old man through unnecessary risks with all the scope checkings!

Nonetheless, grandpa went back to the lord on the 16th Jul 2009. Peace be with him. He has been always a strong and heroic man in my memories, and he will remain always be so ...
