My short trip to Bali, Denpasar

Always wondered why the hype with Bali, why so many farangs like to visit Bali. With miles in hands, went on a short 4 days(actual time there only 2.5 days) trip to Bali with my wife.

What hit me was the people there are indeed quite friendly, they are more obliged to bargaining than the thais nowadays. The beach was superb, probably the best I've ever visited perhaps challenged only by Chaweng beach, Koh Samui.

Food is ok, prices are abit steep, but I think it's because this is my first trip, so probably was ripped off for the $100 "seafood" dinner at Jimbaran Bay, the sunset view and the ambience make heartache lesser though. I now know it can be slightly cheaper or at least thrown in with 2hrs spa.

Mountain area is nice and cooling, scenery at scenic places are good, only being to see some rice terrace, the dunno what temple high in the mountain sitting on the lake ... and of course tanah lot temple. Only thing I did not like was the traffic condition ...horrible!

Will I return? Probably fiercely challenging future beach getaway to thailands ... but I will not stay in the same hotel again as the location sucks! Yes, it's a nice place to relax, well done Bali. :)

* really crazy, honeymoon also wasn't this romantic ... sunset dinner and candle light dinner for every night ... haha!
