Recently, property stocks has been hitting new high in the STI. If one is to look at the newspaper, you'll know why.
1) development of Orchard Road into a sleepless shopping hub.
2) Our up and coming Integrated Resort (IR). 2 days back, MGM Mirage+Capital land, Las Vegas Sand, Harrah's + Keppel Land and Genting International has put forward a bid to build and operate the IR. Not much info yet, currently only know that Genting will be investing $5billion while Las Vegas Sand has come up with a $5.9billion proposal.
Next week will see them presenting their proposal to a 5 minister panel. Really exciting, dunno who'll win. Dun wanna speculate now, let's look forward to next week.
Of course, with all these good news coming up, I think property counters are in for a good time next week. GO GO GO!
Today quite happy, see my Ascott Reit trading at abt $1.14 ... too bad I was only allocated 1 lot at $0.68, nonetheless good enuf to cover Edan's 5 in 1 Injection this morning tat cost $294!! -_-" ... polyclinic still so expensive! And just before trading ends, notice counter K1 venture also starts to build up volume ... very likely next week will cheong liao. Watch it! :)
